Our Offices

Our purpose-Built Office space in Melton West Business Park. Browns Books, 5 Melton Enterprise Park, Melton, East Yorkshire, HU14 3RS. Modern spacious offices, Wellbeing quiet room, games room and staff Canteen, free parking on site, Bus stop at building entrance (Melton Monks Way, 55, 55A 150 Routes).

The Role is to complete Book Servicing for School Library and Educational Textbooks, which includes fitting plastic covers and applying labels and stamps to the customer specifications. Books must be packed and sealed into boxes and Invoices correctly checked and marked off.

The right candidate will be physically fit and able to lift and move boxes in the department. Have a good attention to detail, ensuring detailed instructions are adhered to correctly and efficiently to the highest standards.

Successful Candidates must show during probation exceptional attitude, willingness to learn to be successful in the permanent role, we are looking for people that have long-term aspirations with the company and want to grow with us.

2024 Salary £22,308 (37.5hours)

(Contracts available for 35hours (Apply online only) or (Apply online only) & 37.5hours (Apply online only)

Mandatory Experience/Skills

Physically Fit and able to lift and move boxes in the department.
Enjoy repetitive manual tasks.
Able to apply product stickers/stamps precisely and neatly and still achieve output goals.
Able to read & understand Product Invoices & Written Processes.
Basic Computer/Excel Skills
Good internal Communication/Escalation Skills
Strong Work ethic and positive attitudeSkills of interest

Knowledge of Library Servicing / Education Marc Records.
Library/Bookshop experience
Previous Experience in high output workflow roles.
Full UK Driving LicenceJob Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay £11.44per hour -Salary £22,308 (37.5hours)
