A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a LGV Class 2 Driver - Crane mounted based in Coatbridge on a permanent basis. The role involves the transportation of goods, maintaining vehicle safety, and meeting delivery schedules in a busy distribution environment.
Description
The LGV Class 2 Driver - Crane Mounted will be responsible for:
Delivering goods to various customer locations
Ensuring all goods are safely secured before transportation
Maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and safety
Meeting delivery schedules in a timely manner
Completing all necessary paperwork related to deliveries
Complying with all company policies and regulations
Providing excellent customer service at all times
Assisting with loading and unloading goods when necessaryProfile
A successful LGV Class 2 Driver - Crane Mounted should have:
Valid full clean licence
Class 2 licence essential with CPC and digital tachograph
Experience in driving similar vehicle in a busy distribution operation ideally within construction, housing or civil engineering
RITB / CPCS / ALLMI / NORS accredited or similar recognised qualification - Minimum 2 years' experience essential
Slinger / Signaller qualification is essential
A strong understanding of road safety and vehicle maintenance
Excellent local and geographical knowledge
Exceptional time management skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
