Class 2 (Category C) Drivers - Temp to Perm
Barker Ross is recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with a leading national distribution company based in Harlow.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified Class 2 drivers looking to build a long-term career with a well-established business.
Shift Pattern
Tuesday to Saturday
Start times between 5:00am and 7:00am
Temp-to-perm opportunity
Permanent contract offered after 12 weeks
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering products to a range of commercial customers, including:
Hospitals
Retail stores
Convenience stores
Other business premises
There are two types of delivery routes available:
Multi-Drop Cage Deliveries
10 to 18 deliveries per day
Deliveries typically within approximately one hour of the depot
Deliveries made using cagesBulk Pallet Deliveries
3 to 6 deliveries per day
Palletised deliveries
Delivery distances vary depending on the route
Vehicles
Drivers will operate modern DAF and Mercedes vehicles.
Requirements
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
Valid Driver CPC qualification
Digital Tachograph Card
Good customer service skills
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply
