Level 4 Teaching Assistant - Primary
Full-Time & Long-Term Opportunities | Aspire People
Aspire People are recruiting experienced and qualified Level 4 Teaching Assistants to work within primary schools across Manchester and surrounding areas.
This role is suited to candidates who have progressed beyond Level 3 and are looking for greater responsibility within the classroom, including supporting interventions, pupil progress and SEND provision.
The Role:
* Providing high-level classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
* Delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions
* Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional learning needs
* Assisting teachers with planning, preparation and assessment
* Supporting phonics, literacy and numeracy interventions
* Helping pupils develop independence, confidence and positive behaviour
* Supporting classroom routines and learning activities
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider support teams
* Taking on additional responsibilities within the classroom where required
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds a recognised Level 4 Teaching Assistant or relevant equivalent qualification
* Has strong recent experience working within a UK primary school
* Previous experience working with SEND is highly desirable
* Confident delivering interventions and supporting pupil progress
* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
* Able to work independently and take initiative
* Looking to progress within a primary education setting
