Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Primary
Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Aspire People
Aspire People are recruiting qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the local area.
We are looking for candidates who hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification and have recent experience working within a UK school.
The Role:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support
* Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
* Delivering targeted learning interventions
* Supporting phonics, literacy and numeracy
* Working with pupils with SEND and additional needs
* Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Assisting teachers with classroom learning and preparation
* Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff
* Helping pupils develop independence, confidence and social skills
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification
* Has recent UK-based school experience
* Confident supporting pupils across the primary age range
* SEND experience is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of classroom support and interventions
* Patient, adaptable and proactive
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Strong commitment to safeguarding
