Position: Full-Time Level 3 Teaching Assistant (KS1)

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 1 (KS1) team. This full-time role will involve supporting a diverse range of pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that every child receives the attention and support they need to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) for pupils with SEN.
Work with small groups or one-on-one with pupils to reinforce learning objectives.
Support the social and emotional development of pupils, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to record-keeping.
Assist with classroom management and organisation, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
Participate in planning and preparation of classroom activities and resources.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on pupil progress and well-being.Requirements:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly within KS1.
Understanding of SEN and strategies to support children with diverse needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and safeguarding practices.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one. What We Offer:
