Supply Desk are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers to support the educational and social development of our students. Duties will include providing one-on-one assistance to students, assisting with classroom activities and lesson preparation, and promoting a positive learning environment.

Start Date: ASAP

The Role:

Collaborate with teachers to understand lesson objectives and instructional plans
Assist in the implementation of various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
Offer feedback and suggestions to teachers for improving lesson effectiveness
Conduct targeted interventions to address specific learning needs identified by teachers or assessments.
Provide personalised assistance and guidance to students struggling with understanding concepts
Use a variety of instructional techniques, such as hands-on activities, visual aids, and guided practice, to reinforce learning
Work closely with the school's Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and accommodations
Monitor student behaviour and intervene proactively to prevent disruptions or conflicts
Promote a culture of respect, tolerance, and acceptance among students
Minimum Requirements:

Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Passion for education and developing pupil’s education
Commutable to High Wycombe and the surrounding areas
