Empowering Learning are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team and work within an SEN Provision in Burton on Trent. Successful candidates will provide dedicated 1:1 support to children with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the individualised attention and assistance they require to thrive academically and socially!
Location: Burton-on-Trent, Primary School
Position: Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: £95 - £110 per dayResponsibilities:
Provide tailored support and assistance to a child with special educational needs
Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to meet the individual needs of the student
Maintain accurate records of student progress and developmentRequirements:
Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
Knowledge of special educational needs and experience implementing appropriate support strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools)How to Apply:
