Location - Manchester (M15)

Start Date - Monday 25th of May 2026

Contract Type - Full-time, Long-term

Pay - £110-£130 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Hours - Monday to Friday, 8:45am-3:30pm

About the School:

We are recruiting for a confidet Level 3 SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH provision in Manchester, supporting secondary-aged pupils. The school offers an alternative to mainstream education for learners who need consistency, emotional support and strong relationships to thrive.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis, offering both emotional and academic support
Confidently lead and manage classrooms
Deliver engaging, tailored lesson plans
Maintain regular communication with other staff members and third party agencies to monitor progressWhat we are looking for:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant/Mentor in a similar PRU or SEMH setting
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Previous experience delivering lesson plansTo be eligible you must:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
