TeacherActive are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant in the area who will have the amazing opportunity to work with this wonderful Nursery!
We are looking for a Level 3 Nursery Assistant to fill this permanent placement caring for and supporting young children and their early-stage development.
The Ideal Level 3 Nursery Assistantt must have the following:
NVQ Level 3 and a minimum 6-month experience in an early year educational environment
A calm, nurturing and caring persona
Excellent communication skills
A good understanding of Child protection and safeguarding guidelines
A flexible, positive can-do attitude/
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children in a nursery
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
- Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a nursery or childcare setting
- Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to manage and lead activities for children
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required
