Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Hours: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)
Contract: Permanent/Fixed Term (depending on appointment)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young children thrive during the crucial early years of their education.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where every child can achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative learning activities in line with the EYFS Framework.
Promote children's learning, independence, and social development through play-based experiences.
Work with individual children and small groups to support learning and development.
Help create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
Observe, monitor, and record children's progress where appropriate.
Assist with classroom preparation, displays, and resources.
Support children's personal care needs where required.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

Experience working with children in an EYFS setting.
A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification (desirable).
A good understanding of the EYFS Framework.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, caring, and positive approach.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and use initiative when needed.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
