Start date: ASAP
Salary: £22,000–£29,000pa (Dependent on experience)

About the Role:

Supply Desk are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive early years team in Watford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and education, while supporting children to learn, develop, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

As a Level 3 EYFS Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children’s development and wellbeing, delivering engaging learning opportunities, and helping to create a positive environment where every child can reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, stimulating, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through play and purposeful activities
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and development
• Support individual children’s needs and contribute to their learning journeys
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage children’s confidence, independence, and social skills
• Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
• Assist with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
• Work effectively as part of the nursery team to provide consistently high standards of care and education

Requirements:

• Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (Or equivalent)
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting (Desirable)
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, caring, and proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
