Level 2 Teaching Assistant - SEND & Primary Support
Primary Schools | Full-Time & Long-Term Opportunities | Aspire People
Aspire People are looking for experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have a recognised Level 2 qualification alongside recent UK-based school experience and who are confident supporting pupils with additional needs.
The Role:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support
* Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
* Assisting with differentiated classroom activities
* Supporting phonics, reading, writing and numeracy
* Helping pupils develop independence and confidence
* Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
* Working alongside class teachers and SENCOs
* Supporting classroom routines and transitions
* Monitoring pupil engagement and feeding back to teaching staff
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or relevant qualification
* Has at least 6 months' UK-based experience within a school
* Previous experience supporting SEND is highly desirable
* Confident working with primary-aged children
* Calm, patient and nurturing approach
* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
* Reliable and professional
