Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Primary Support

Aspire People are seeking qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Manchester. We are looking for candidates who combine a recognised qualification with recent practical experience working with children in UK schools.
This role is suited to Teaching Assistants who can support classroom learning, work alongside teachers and help pupils develop positive learning habits.
The Role:
- Supporting teaching and learning across primary year groups
- Working with individuals and small groups
- Assisting with phonics, reading, writing and Maths
- Supporting classroom routines and positive behaviour
- Helping pupils with additional learning needs access activities
- Preparing classroom resources and supporting lesson delivery
- Communicating effectively with teachers and support staff
Essential Requirements:
- A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent relevant qualification
- Relevant UK-based school experience within the last two years
- Practical experience supporting pupils with learning and classroom activities
- Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills
- A professional approach to safeguarding
Candidates must hold the required qualification and have recent UK school experience to be considered.
Daily supply, part-time and longer-term opportunities may be available depending on school requirements and candidate availability.
