TeacherActive is currently recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work within a secondary school in the beautiful coastal town of Aberystwyth.

The Role

Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
Provide targeted support to pupils with a range of additional learning needs
Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment
Promote pupil confidence, independence, and wellbeing
Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school team

Requirements

✅ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
✅ Previous experience supporting children in an educational setting
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
✅ Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
✅ Passion for supporting children's learning and development
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
