Job Title: LEV Testing Engineer
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: £28k - £45k + Training & Benefits
An industry-leading provider of LEV / Ventilation services has recently grown their client portfolio, and requires a P601 qualified LEV Test Engineer to join their team. Applicants will be expected to travel UK wide to a range of industrial, manufacturing and commercial premises. You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring to provide an exemplary service whilst on site. Experience / Qualifications:
* Proven track record working as an LEV Testing Engineer on Dust / Fume extraction systems
* Must hold the BOHS P601 as a minimum
* Good working knowledge of HSG 258 and COSHH guidelines
* Adaptable to client travel requirements
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Confident using IT software to complete reports
The Role:
* Conducting thorough inspections and testing of LEV, dust and fume extraction systems
* Evaluating overall system performance and highlighting any required remedial works
* Replacing components, including: fans, filters and belts
* Emissions testing
* Testing on fume cupboards
* Interpreting schematic drawings
* Producing regular technical reports for clients
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering technical queries and providing advice
* Working in accordance with set deadlines and compliance guidelines
