Lettings Officer
Stafford, Staffordshire
Minimum 3-Month Contract
£17.68 - £22.59 per hour
Our client, a housing organisation based within Staffordshire, is looking to recruit a Lettings Officer on a 3-month temporary contract
Daily duties of the Lettings Officer consist of:
Ensure vacant properties are let efficiently, in accordance with the Lettings Policy and procedures
Assist in ensuring the Housing Register is accurate and up to date by accurately assessing Housing Applications from applicants seeking re-housing
Deliver a local housing advice and information service for people in need of rehousing
Ensuring properties are terminated and tenants are advised of legal rights
Updating, assessing, and maintaining Housing registry applications
Allocating vacant properties accordingly
Pre-tenancy checks and assessments
Referring tenants to ensure tenancies are sustained
Working to minimise re-let period of voids
Responding to complaintsEssential experience of the Lettings Officer:
Hold an Enhanced DBS (or able to complete)
