Description:
Wentworth James are currently working with a long standing client assisting them in their search for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor based in London. This is a mobile role working within some prestigious commercial sites.
ROLE: Legionella Risk Assessor
LOCATION: Mobile Role covering London
SALARY: Upto £38,0000 + pension + 22 days holiday ( not including bank holidays ) + vehicle + NO CALL OUTS
You will be working within a variety of commercial environments including hospitals, hotels, school and leisure facilities to name a few.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive Legionella risk assessments in various environments including commercial, healthcare, industrial, and residential buildings.
* Produce detailed risk assessment reports, including recommendations for corrective actions and control measures.
* Develop and implement Legionella management plans in accordance with current regulations and industry best practices.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on Legionella prevention and control.
* Stay updated with the latest legislation, standards, and industry developments related to Legionella control.
* Collaborate with the technical team to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
* Conduct training sessions for clients and staff on Legionella awareness and preventive measures.
* Collect and interpret water samples.
* Other operational works to ensure that contractual commitments are met i.e. hygiene monitoring & remedial works.
Qualifications and Experience:
* 3 years of industry experience.
* Experience in Legionella Risk Assessment.
* City & Guilds or WMS Certificate in Legionella Risk Assessment (desired)
* Relevant qualifications in water hygiene, microbiology.
* Detailed knowledge of Legionella, its risks, and control measures.
* Willingness to learn and develop expertise in Legionella control and prevention.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to work without direct supervision.
* Proficiency in using risk assessment & asset management software.
* Physically able to complete required duties.
* Commercial awareness.
* Good computer literacy.
* Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites.
