Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Derby, East Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £27k - £40k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for a Legionella Risk Assessor to cover sites across the Midlands region. You will be joining a growing name within the Legionella / Compliance, who have a nationwide presence of commercial, local authority and public sector contracts. Candidates must be confident in completing legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems as a minimum, but it would be beneficial to have experience on process systems (i.e. cooling towers).

You will be travelling across: Derby, Nottingham, Loughborough, Leicester, Hinckley, Burton upon Trent, Lichfield, Tamworth, Nuneaton, Coventry, Birmingham, Marston Green, Redditch, Rugby, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Halesowen, Burntwood, Cannock, Rugeley, Stafford, Bromsgrove, Royal Leamington Spa, Droitwich Spa, Kidderminster, Telford, Daventry, Northampton.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
* Experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor within a well-established outfit
* Robust technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274
* Confident in producing technical reports
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Hardworking attitude
The Role:
* Carrying out legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
* Highlighting any compliance risks and making appropriate recommendations for rectifying
* Creating schematic drawings and technical reports
* Water sampling and temperature monitoring
* Adhering to set personal targets and deadlines
* Training new risk assessors and providing ongoing support
* Liaising with clients
* Travelling in line with company needs
