Legionella Risk Assessor
Salary up to £45,000 + travel allowance and benefits
Home-based with travel around Manchester and Leeds
Are you experienced in carrying out Legionella risk assessments and committed to delivering high standards of water safety?
We are seeking a dedicated Legionella Risk Assessor to join a leading safety consultancy. This role involves supporting clients across various sectors to ensure compliance with health and safety standards related to Legionella control.
The successful Legionella Risk Assessor will:
Carry out Legionella risk assessments in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines (e.g., ACoP L8, HTM 04-01, and BS 858
Prepare detailed schematic drawings and final reports for clients, highlighting risk mitigation measures.
Provide expert recommendations for reducing and managing Legionella risks across water systems.
Present findings during client meetings and assist with ongoing water safety consultancy.
Support various water safety projects and technical investigations as required.
The successful Legionella Risk Assessor will have:
Proven experience conducting Legionella risk assessments, ideally from a consultancy background.
A recognised Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, BOHS, WMSoc).
A strong working knowledge of water safety legislation, including ACoP L8 and HTM 04-01.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to clients and stakeholders.
