MI Legal Analyst

Permanent

£30,000 - £35,000

Nottingham - Hybrid

A MI Legal Analyst is needed at an established company in Nottingham as it continues a period of growth and expansion.

The individual will come in at the start of an exciting project and will have the ability to really make their mark on it.

Legal engineers create new tools and systems that can improve legal processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs, while ensuring compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards.

They work at the intersection of law and technology, applying their knowledge to develop solutions that can help law firms to better manage their legal operations and client collaboration. Working as part of a team the legal engineer designs, develops and delivers digital solutions using the firm’s low code development platforms (including HighQ and Smartsheet) to facilitate collaboration and communication with our clients.

What does the role actually involve?

In close collaboration with lawyers, clients and project management teams, the team are responsible for the creation of data capture and workflow management solutions within the following development cycle.

* Analysing requirements (supported by Business Analysts) and understanding the needs of our stakeholders.

* Creation of prototypes and proof of concepts designed to improve the understanding of the overall requirements.

* Gathering and understanding feedback.

* Re-development and expansion of prototypes into working solutions, working with lawyers to ensure it meets expectations and delivers on their vision.

* Collation and understanding of the data and MI requirements throughout.

* Supporting user acceptance testing.

* Creation of functional and technical documentation to improve. maintainability and usability of our digital platforms.

* Experience of analysing or manipulating data, with the ability to articulate technical requirements to our BI and MI development team.

* Experience in the legal sector may be advantageous but is not essential.
