We are looking to recruit a Legal Cashier/Accounts Assistant for a well-established, and highly reputable law firm in Barrow in Furness

The successful individual must have previous experience of working in an accounts office and ideally have a recognised accountancy qualification (i.e. AAT level 3/ILFM or equivalent) or be working towards one.

Previous experience of working in a law firm with knowledge of legal accounting principles, including compliance with the SRA Accounts rules would be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided including external training qualifications.

You will have strong Microsoft IT skills with a good working knowledge of spreadsheets and the use of internet banking systems together with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

It is essential that you have exceptional accuracy/attention to detail and strong organisational and time management skills with a positive approach to working under pressure in a busy environment
