Description:

Our client in Ipswich are seeking a Legal Cashier to join them in a permanent position, based on relevant skills and experience the salary will be circa £35k, its a 35 hour working week (9-5) and hybrid working is available. You must have at least 3 years+ within a role of this nature with another legal firm to be considered - for more details please apply.

Legal Cashier

You will be part of a busy Cashiering Team and must adhere to the SAR rules.

As part of the role you will be expected to undertake the

* Daily bank reconciliations

* Process BACS and CHAPS payments

* Undertake client completions on a daily basis

* Preparation of cheques

* Client to office transfers

* Posting of client invoices

* Posting debit/credit card payments

* Dealing with general enquiries

* General Admin

You will have:

● Previous legal cashiering experience (3 years +) and knowledge of solicitors accounts rules preferred

● Good use of Word, Excel and generally strong IT skills

● Strong academic background

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills

● Able to work independently whilst also being a team player

● Very organised
