Our client are a Top 100 Commercial Law Firm based in the North West with offices in Liverpool, Manchester and Preston. They are a forward-looking organisation with a reputation for quality legal services.
We are now seeking a Legal Administrator to join their Litigation and Regulatory Team on a permanent basis. The team provide support across on range of issues, including personal, commercial and regulatory disputes, contract disputes and professional negligence cases, shareholder disputes and partnership disputes, debt recovery matters, property damage matters, network claims, firearms conflicts and defamation and privacy cases.
Role Responsibilities include:
* Undertake general administration; scanning, filing, typing, processing training invoices/expenses and handling telephone enquiries/requests, archiving, producing bibles and collating and indexing data room information
* Support fee earners, PA’s, and the shared service function by filing all hard copy and electronic documents, correspondence and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
* Assist the legal departments within the office with ad hoc administration by managing the department inbox, dealing with post, opening files, archiving files ensuring that file structures are strictly maintained and undertake conflict searches as necessary
* Work towards producing correspondence and legal documentation via DocuSign, audio and copy typing, maintaining a high level of accuracy in accordance with Firm’s House style and Best Practice Guidelines, proof reading and correcting the quality of your work without prompting.
* Work within the Firm’s Anti-Money Laundering regulations and complete money laundering documentation for client and matter opening, ensuring that correct documentation is obtained from the client.
