Description:

LEGAL ADMINISTRATOR/PARALEGAL; Wolverhampton; 6-month contract; £18-20ph depending on experience; 37 Hrs per week; Inside IR35.
We currently have an opportunity for a legal administrator to work with an aerospace sector client based in Wolverhampton. The post holder will provide support in review of contracts, annotation of changes and providing a concise summary of counter requests, risk etc.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal and contract support on contracts and legal documents including providing support on the contract lifecycle, including intake, review, execution, and post-execution tracking.
Assist in reviewing, redlining, and formatting contracts, subcontracts, service agreements, and project correspondence.
Support contract governance processes, including contract intake, approval workflows, execution, and documentation in accordance with internal policies.
Assist in identifying key contractual terms, deviations, and risk areas, escalating issues to senior legal team members as appropriate.
Maintain and organize contract records, templates, and legal documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.
Support the administration of contracts including tracking contract status, key dates, and obligations.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., project management, procurement, engineering, finance) to facilitate contract requests and ensure alignment with legal and business requirements.
Liaise closely with business unit teams as needed on contract-related matters, including standard terms, process guidance, and documentation support.
Monitor deadlines, key milestones, and contractual obligations to support timely execution and compliance.
Assist in preparing correspondence and supporting materials for internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and project teams.
Knowledge, Attributes and Skills
:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal support role, preferably in an international law firm setting or aerospace environment.
Familiarity with long form contracts (e.g., MTA, MSA) and supplier-facing agreements.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally with a training contract already in place
Solid understanding of general legal concepts, including contract law, legal risks and mitigations, legal terminology, ethics, and confidentiality.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with strong digital literacy and experience working with business and collaboration tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Demonstrated ability to follow established processes while supporting continuous improvement in contract management workflows.
