Dovetail and Slate are currently working with an excellent college who are looking for a Health and Social Care Lecturer to join their department on a part time basis.
Location: Thatcham
Job title: Health and Social Care Lecturer
Fixed Term: 12 months
Hours: 18 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: £14,000 - £16,500 Actual / £27,783 - £32,823 FTE
Working days: Tuesday / Wednesday / Friday
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons using a variety of teaching methods and techniques
* Assess and evaluate students' work, providing constructive feedback to aid learning and development
* Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure content is relevant and reflects current industry standards
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
* Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of all students
The successful applicant will have:
* Level 3 Health and Social Care
* L3 Education & Training Award
* Assessor and Interval Verifier Qualifications
* L2 English and Maths
* 2 years teaching experience
