Description:
We are seeking a suitably experienced and qualified person for a local authority contract to cover maternity leave.
The role is for 35 Hours per week - Monday - Friday
As a personal adviser you will hold a case load of Young people providing 1:1 support whilst undertaking the role as Personal adviser as described in Children Leaving care Act 2000 & the amendments as set out in the Children and Social work Act 2017 . This will include include reviewing and updating pathway plans .
You should be passionate about improving the life chances of young people, enjoy working with and understand the needs of adolescents, be a good team player and be able to work on your own initiative and be able to work well with other agencies and utilise community resources for the benefit of young people.
You should have an understanding of the role of the Corporate Parent and be qualified at a minimum of Level 3 Child Care or related field as well as substantial and demonstrable experience of working with children and families, in particular adolescents.
Working with Blu tech you will receive weekly pay, will accrue paid annual leave hours, be provided access to free update training where appropriate, with certificates provided, and be given a named consultant as your main point of contact.
