Engage Education are working with multiple secondary school SEN departments in the Rochdale area who are eager to secure fantastic Learning Support Mentors to provide outstanding 1:1 & small group SEN support to children with complex learning difficulties.

Learning Support Mentor – Role Information:

* Conducting specifically tailored 1:1 & small group support for children with SEN

* Creating warm and inspiring atmosphere for children throughout school day

* Creating and sustaining meaningful rapport with students

* Communicating with colleagues and reporting to school SENCO

* Located in one Rochdale secondary school for full academic year

Learning Support Mentor – Benefits:

* Paid £90 – £95 per day during term time

* Located in one Rochdale based secondary school

* Working alongside experienced teaching professionals

* Monday to Friday role from September 2026 to July 2027

* FREE online CPD courses across array of subjects

Learning Support Mentor – What We’re Looking For:

* Minimum 2:2 UK based degree

* Prior experience teaching, tutoring or volunteering with children

* Enhanced DBS on update service desirable but NOT mandatory

* Open to full-time work beginning September 2026
