Hays Education are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist educational setting supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. Your new role

Providing tailored support to pupils throughout the school day
Encouraging engagement with learning activities both in and out of the classroom
Supporting communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing
Adapting your approach to meet individual learning needs
Assisting with personal care where required
Working closely with teachers and wider support staff to promote positive outcomes
What you'll need to succeed

Experience supporting children or young people is desirable
A calm, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine interest in special educational needs and inclusive education
A willingness to learn and develop within a specialist setting
