Learning Support Assistant - Primary Schools
Manchester & Surrounding Areas | Full-Time, Part-Time & Supply | Aspire People
Aspire People are recruiting experienced Learning Support Assistants to support primary schools across Manchester. We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic candidates who can help pupils access learning, develop confidence and feel supported throughout the school day.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with recent UK school experience who enjoys working alongside teachers to support pupils with different learning abilities and needs.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with classroom learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Providing individual and small-group support
- Assisting with reading, writing, Maths and classroom activities
- Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Helping pupils develop independence and confidence
- Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant UK-based school experience within the last two years
- Experience supporting children in a classroom or learning environment
- A patient, adaptable and supportive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
Candidates with Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or classroom support experience are encouraged to apply.
