Learning Support Assistant (KS2) - Primary School, North Leeds

We are working with a friendly and supportive primary school in North Leeds seeking enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their team in Key Stage 2.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and are considering a future career in teaching.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning and development. You will play a key role in helping children to achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom
Working with individuals and small groups of pupils
Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom management
Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs

About You

We are looking for candidates who:

Have a genuine passion for education and supporting children's learning
Are motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive
Are considering a future in teaching (e.g. progressing to a teaching degree)
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work well as part of a team and are willing to learnExperience working with children is desirable but not essential-we value attitude, commitment, and potential.
