Job Title: KS3 & KS4 Learning Support Assistants (LSA)
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Are you passionate about supporting young learners to reach their full potential? Do you have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated KS3 & KS4 Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to join our team in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. Our schools provide excellent learning environments where every child is supported to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEND in KS3 & KS4.
Implement behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Demonstrate a good sense of humour and use it effectively to engage with students.
Utilise excellent initiative to adapt support strategies to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, and other professionals to support the holistic development of students.
Foster a supportive and understanding environment for students, promoting their well-being and self-esteem.Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEND is essential.
Strong behaviour management skills.
Ability to adapt to different children's needs and learning styles.
