We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant for a 11-16 Secondary School in Alnwick to work on a full-time, long-term basis starting as soon as possible!

Your role & responsibilities:
* Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students.
* Support students consistently whilst responding to their individual needs.
* Deliver catch-up/intervention sessions.
* Work with the class teacher in planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons as appropriate.
Non-negotiables:
* Recent and relevant experience working with children and young people (preferably in an educational setting).
* Good Numeracy and Literacy skills.
* Empathy and compassion - passionate about providing a nurturing learning environment.
* The ability to work under the guidance of the class teacher.
