Gold Education Recruitment is looking for motivated, enthusiastic and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to work with primary schools across Braintree and the surrounding areas of Essex.
We are recruiting for a variety of Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant and SEN Support Assistant positions, offering opportunities for candidates who enjoy helping children learn, develop and achieve their potential.

The Role
As a Primary Learning Support Assistant, you will support teachers and pupils within a welcoming and inclusive primary school environment.
Depending on the placement, your responsibilities may include:

Supporting children across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
*
Providing individual 1:1 support to pupils with additional learning needs.
*
Working with small groups to reinforce classroom learning.
*
Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
*
Assisting children with literacy, numeracy and other curriculum activities.
*
Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and confidence.
*
Helping teachers prepare learning materials and classroom activities.
*
Supporting children's social, emotional and educational development.
*
Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and other school staff.
The Ideal Candidate
Successful applicants will ideally:

Have previous experience working within a UK primary school.
*
Have experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or SEN Support Assistant.
*
Be confident supporting children with different abilities and learning needs.
*
Have a positive, patient and adaptable approach.
*
Be able to communicate effectively with children and school staff.
*
Demonstrate reliability, professionalism and enthusiasm.
*
Understand the importance of safeguarding and maintaining a safe learning environment.
Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, social and emotional needs or speech and language difficulties would be beneficial.
