Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant (KS1)
Location: Burton-on-Trent, Derbyshire (DE14)

Salary: £83.39 - £95 per day
Are you experienced in supporting children with SEND on a 1 to 1 basis?
Can you teach children using a range of strategies including good questioning techniques and dialogue to develop understanding and extend learning?
Can you encourage good manners and respectful behaviours in a positive manner?
TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a thriving and aspirational Primary Academy based in Burton-on-Trent, Derbyshire (DE14). The school is looking to take on a full-time Learning Support Assistant for a long term period who is kind, caring and experienced in working with KS1 children with special educational needs.
The successful applicant will be making sure that children are safe, happy and stimulated as well as observing children and taking notes of any problematic behaviour.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
Extensive experience working with KS1 children
Enthusiastic about making a positive difference to each child’s development
Resilient and reliable to provide continuity in the role
Driving License (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with SEND children on a 1 to 1 basis
