Salary: £95 - £110 per day

TeacherActive, one of the UK’s leading education recruitment agencies, is currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work within Primary Schools across Brigg and the wider area.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers and other school staff to help pupils engage with their learning and make progress. Depending on the needs of the school, you may provide 1:1 support, work with small groups, assist with classroom activities or support pupils with additional learning needs.

We are interested in hearing from experienced Learning Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants and individuals with relevant experience supporting children or young people. Opportunities can range from flexible day-to-day work to short and long-term placements.

Our consultants will take the time to understand your experience, availability and the type of role you are looking for, helping to match you with suitable opportunities across Brigg and the wider area.

We are looking for Learning Support Assistants who have:

· Experience supporting primary-aged children or young people in a relevant setting

· A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential

· Experience with SEND, 1:1 support, interventions or small-group work is welcomed

· The ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils

· Good communication and behaviour management skills

· A patient, supportive and adaptable approach
