The Role and Location.

Vibe Recruit are proud to be working with our client to help find the best possible candidates for their Learning Support Assistant vacancies at their Secure Training Centre in Milton Keynes. The centre is within a Young Offender Secure Unit, and houses children aged between 12 and 19 years of age.

Suitable LSA's will have.

A good standard of education which will include Grade 4 in English and Maths
Enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards improving learning opportunities for young people
An ability to work as part of a teamSuitable candidates will have the following behaviours:

Agility, Reliability, be Innovative, Caring, Safety conscious, be a good Team Player, and have Integrity

And it will be desirable to have.

The ability to operate Google software competently, including Google docs, sheets and slides
Be able to track progress and engagement accurately and reporting skillsKey Responsibilities for this position.

Assisting teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons
Building and maintaining professional working relationships with young people
Supporting the pupils to develop and become independent learners
Promoting high standards of behaviour and attitudes
Creating and reviewing individual learning plans as well as recording the learning support figure daily
Assisting in the promotion of creating a positive Health and Safety culture across the site by leading by example, including reporting accidents and near misses
Being committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and adults at riskAbout Us
