We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of welcoming and supportive Primary Schools and Secondary Schools across the Porthcawl area in preparation for September. Whether you’re experienced or looking to build on your classroom skills, we have fantastic short-term and long-term local opportunities to suit you.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

* Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment

* Provide tailored support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in SEN settings

* Encourage pupil confidence, independence and progress

* Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar setting)

* A patient, nurturing and proactive approach

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* A genuine passion for supporting learning and development
