Learning Support Assistant - Permanent

32.5 hours per week term time only

Actual starting salary will be GBP17,755 - GBP18,355

The schools main objective is to ensure that all pupils make exceptional progress through the development of outstanding staff. Their approach promotes and celebrates individuality, whilst encouraging the pursuit of excellence.

We are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual, to work in an Ofsted rated good pupil referral unit. The role will be classroom based, working in small classes to support the academic, social, emotional development of pupils and to maximise attainment and progress for all.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Level 2 English and Maths or above.

A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.

Be committed to working with others to maximise the educational and social opportunities available for children and young people who often are the most vulnerable.

The ability to use relevant technology/equipment.

A can-do attitude.

A commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
