Long Term Futures are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming girls' secondary school in Wandsworth, supporting students across KS3 and KS4.

The school is looking for a proactive and engaging Learning Support Assistant who can provide additional academic and pastoral support to students, including those with SEN and additional learning needs.

This is a long-term position offering excellent experience for an established LSA/Teaching Assistant or a graduate considering a future career in teaching, SEN or education.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students across KS3 and KS4
Provide 1:1 and small-group learning support
Support students with SEN and additional learning needs
Work alongside teachers within mainstream lessons
Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions
Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
Encourage independence, confidence and positive engagement
Support behaviour and emotional wellbeing where required
Work closely with the SENCO, teachers and pastoral teamIdeal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or SEN TA is desirable
Experience working with secondary-aged students
Understanding of SEN/SEND and barriers to learning
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Confidence supporting students across different subjects
A patient, professional and proactive approach
Graduates considering teacher training are encouraged to applyLocation & Transport - Wandsworth
