Autism Teaching Assistant – Aylesbury £90+ per day
Engage Education is currently working in partnership with a SEND Provision in Aylesbury who are requiring Teaching Assistants with previous behaviour management and sensory-based experience, to support students with Autism, ADHD and various Cognitive, Social, and Emotional difficulities.
Our school love professioanls who have a background in Music, Arts and Drama as this is a big part of their sensory-based work.

The Role:
Working with pupils with Autism and other complexities to support their time in sensory/theraputice based practises
Assisting pupils 121 and as a group, mentoring them during Maths and English sessions but also supporting Music, Arts and sensory based work (including assisting the Music Therapist who attends at the school)
Promote positivity and a calming nature
Working in partnership with pupils and support staff alike
£80 – £100 per day
Requirements:
Experience working with people with complex cognitive needs which lead to challenging behaviours
Experience in a similar role
Intervention Support and 121 work
