Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Torquay
Pay: £92.63 per day
Start date: September
Setting: Mainstream Primary School

TeacherActive is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Learning Support Assistant to work within a welcoming mainstream primary school in Torquay. You will support pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups and across the classroom.
The successful LSA will:
Support the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
Provide one-to-one and small-group interventions
Help pupils remain engaged and focused
Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour
Contribute to a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience supporting children or young people, although this is not essential
Be patient, empathetic and adaptable
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
