Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in welcoming secondary schools across Waltham Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to make a positive impact on students' academic progress, confidence and wellbeing.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Support students during lessons on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging learning activities.
Help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
Provide additional support for pupils with SEND where required.
Encourage independence, confidence and positive classroom behaviour.
Assist with intervention sessions and classroom preparation.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children or young people in schools, tutoring, youth work, coaching or similar settings.
Is patient, enthusiastic and adaptable.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a school team.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
