Job Description:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational development and progress of students within the school setting. Your main responsibilities will include:
Job Duties:
Providing support and assistance to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
Working closely with teachers to implement individual education plans
Assisting with classroom activities and ensuring a conducive learning environment
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
Supporting students with personal care and physical needs, if required
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
Experience working with children or young people
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred
Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary position with full-time hours for 1-2 terms
You will be required to work within the school hours and term dates
The role may involve some physical activities and providing personal care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
