Description:

TeacherActive are searching for a Teaching Assistant in the outskirts of Mansfield (NG15) who is committed to making a positive impact on both staff and student to support a healthy learning environment. The successful applicant will have experience with Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. We build great relationships with our schools and support staff so we can find the best placements for you.

The TA / Teaching Assistant role will entail assisting the Teacher with the class as well as aiding the children with their work. 

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Relevant qualifications or experience
Excellent presence in the classroom
Can encourage a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Experience working in a Primary School
Valid UK Driving License
Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant
Hold a Level 2 / Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
Preferably available to work between 08:30 – 15:30
The role will include:

Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
Work with students who require additional support
Leading group work
Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
