The school are seeking 3x Learning Support Assistants to join their team in September, supporting two reception-aged twin boys with SEND. As a Learning Support Assistant you will play a crucial role in the educational and personal development of the twin boys, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need to thrive in a school setting. Your role will encompass both educational assistance and personal care duties. This will be an ongoing role for the successful Learning Support Assistants.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
Experience working with children with SEND, particularly in a school setting, is highly desirable.
A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
Basic knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures.
Ability to perform personal care tasks with sensitivity and respect for the children’s privacy and dignity.
Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or special education are advantageous.
