Salary: £92.63 per day
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Exeter, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school provides a nurturing learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start available. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across the classroom, including children with SEND, helping to promote engagement, positive behaviour and academic progress. A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous, and previous SEND experience is preferred but not essential.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• Experience working with children in an educational setting
• SEND experience desirable but not essential
• A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting learning
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
