At GSL Education, we’re currently supporting an SEND school in Exeter. They’re actively seeking Learning Mentors to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis, with the possibility of a permanent position.

Job Title: Learning Mentor (Drivers will be proritised)
Location: Exeter
Salary: £80 to £90 per day
Start Date: ASAP

Every child has a high level of support often including one to one support and bespoke timetables following thematic learning experiences. A wide range of personalised learning in and out of the classroom is designed to engage the student, build resilience and provide the foundation for rapid academic progress. Your Responsibilities as a Learning Mentor:

Provide personalised guidance and support to students.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to create comprehensive support plans.
Cultivate a nurturing environment that enhances social interactions and communication skills.
Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and implement effective interventions to address behavioral challenges and encourage positive outcomes.
Requirements:

UK DRIVING LICENSE WITH ACCESS TO A CAR
Be available asap on a full time basis
Effective communication abilities to ensure clear interactions
Demonstrated Patience and Empathy along with flexibility and adaptability
