Learning Mentor - Primary School - Birmingham - September Start ????

Are you passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential? We are seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Learning Mentor to join a welcoming Primary School in Birmingham from September.

As a Learning Mentor, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping to improve their confidence, engagement, wellbeing, and academic progress. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils.
✅ Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
✅ Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
✅ Encourage positive attitudes towards learning and school attendance.
✅ Work closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team.

The Ideal Candidate:

✔ Experience working with children in a school, care, youth work, or mentoring setting.
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
✔ Ability to motivate and inspire young learners.
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
