About the Role:

As a Learning Mentor with a focus on behaviour, you'll work closely with some of the school's most vulnerable students - building the kind of trusted, one-to-one relationships that create real and lasting change. Whether you're delivering a behaviour support session, conducting a home visit, or sitting alongside a student in class, your presence will make a tangible difference every single day.

This is a role for someone who is emotionally intelligent, calm under pressure, and genuinely motivated by seeing young people grow in confidence, attitude, and achievement.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in a behaviour support, mentoring, or pastoral role - ideally within a school, alternative provision, or social care setting
A confident, solutions-focused approach to challenging behaviour with a genuine belief in every student's potential
Strong relationship-building skills with young people, families, and professional colleagues
Emotionally resilient, adaptable, and calm in difficult or unpredictable situations
Experience working with vulnerable pupils or those with social, emotional, and mental health needs
Knowledge of restorative approaches and/or pastoral support planning would be a real advantage

To Be Eligible You Must:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Have an enhanced DBS certificate already on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
Provide two professional references from child-related roles
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
